Biological Weathering
Biological weathering is the process which organisms weather the rocks. Organisms include plant roots, burrowing animals and humans. There are these plant organisms called, lichen. Lichen lives on rocks and slowly eats away at them, breaking them down. How much the mineral or rock is broken down depends on how much biological activity is there.
